The humidity in Charleston provides for the advantage of being able to capture light. Some mornings light is streaming- this morning was particularly intense and the light bathed the cabin.

Climbing vine roses just after a rain against the backdrop of lime greens in the palmetto and contrasted by the deep reds of the landscape bark. The bright reds of the roses completed the story.

Colonial Lake in Charleston surrounded by antebellum houses and Charleston singles. The painting portrays strong autumn sunlight after rain. I liked the contrast of the lime greens against the violets of the clouds.
